Face to Face Presentation
Why do we design fashion in 2D if our body is 3D?
With 3D fashion design, the aim is to provide the fashion designer with new and powerful tools with which to design and pattern directly on a 3D virtual mannequin, checking the validity of the patterns before printing them. Understand easily the relationship between the shape of a pattern and the final garment, reducing the time and cost of production of a sample.
Control the approach and execution of the software that is considered as tools to adapt to the needs of the market, optimizing execution times with the consequent cost savings when working digitally in the creation of patterns and its 3D modeling.
Elaborate basic patterns and make transformations on them, studying cuts, transfer of tweezers, types of materials, changes of colors, patterns, textures, brightness, finishes, etc. of different tissues by customizing a virtual mannequin with the client’s measurements, being able to see how any change or transformation in the virtual mannequin modifies the pattern instantaneously and vice versa.
Aimed at fashion designers looking to adapt to new technologies in digitalization and 3D modeling, to future professionals who want to specialize in fashion design adapted to the new needs of the market.
It is recommended, but it is not necessary for the student to have previous knowledge of 3D programming or pattern design.
This course is aimed at all those interested in the world of fashion and the retail sector who wish to acquire training in a practical way totally oriented to its application in the workplace.
